NO to Extinction

It took me some time to figure out the way how to express things regarding the problem we currently face in our ecosystem.
Before I begin, let us know. What is an ecosystem?
-An ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment (things like air, water and mineral soil), interacting as a system.
The first time I witness a film regarding mass extermination of the animals in the ecosystem; it instantly crushed my heart, treating them like nothing, like their importance has never been counted at all in this planet. It’s just very disturbing; especially the population of those animals in the wild shrink rapidly.
Poaching bring animals to extinction. It is considered to be one of the cruellest actions human can put to animals. This is the activity closely monitored especially in South Africa, whereas, elephants is in the brink of extinction, because of the in demand retail of ivory in the black market. Animals are killed for this small part of their body, get killed because of the money people desire to amass. I was horrified! reports that some populations of African elephants are secure and expanding, primarily in southern Africa, numbers are continuing to fall in other areas, particularly in central Africa and parts of East Africa. With an estimated 470,000 elephants left on the continent, the species is regarded as vulnerable, although certain populations are being poached towards extinction.

Asian elephants numbers have dropped by at least 50% over the last three generations, and they’re still in decline today. With only 40,000-50,000 left in the wild, the species is classified as endangered.
And it is critical to conserve both African and Asian elephants since they play such a vital role in their ecosystems as well as contributing towards tourism and community incomes in many areas.
So by helping protect elephants, we’re helping conserve their habitat, supporting local communities, and making sure natural resources are available for generations to come.
Through generations the species are slowly dying till none of them left. An action must be imposed to put this to stop! A single citizen has a power to make change, a simple action is colossal when earnest. A simple voice has to be heard a simple action has to be initiated!
Aside from the elephants there are other animals that are in the brink of extinction and they are going to be extinct if we won’t start now.
