One Change at a Time this Lenten Season

Its Lenten season once again. The season of giving and the most awaited season of the year. There will be foods, presentations, family gatherings, fireworks, reunited acquaintances and some cheerful smiles to complete the celebration. Although this season will all be spent for bliss and delight we must not forget what contributes this celebration for our planet.
After the exchange gifts, what will you do to those teared gift wrappers?
-
How many kilos of meat have you consumed?
-
After the season, how much waste each home had produce?
-
Fireworks is great, what will be the effect of it in our planet?
-
Sometimes the things that tend to make us happy must be sacrificed for the longtime expend of whats left. This planet has its chance but all hopes will be lost if otherwise. Sing Merry Christmas for the world not just for the sake listening to it for pleasure.
The year comes almost to its end. Salute the departure of the recent year with the welcoming change for the arrival of the new year.
One change at a time can make the job done.
Merry Christmas Everyone and have an environmentalist new year.

Making Our Plane a Better Place to Live-Movement Impartation [Part 2]

There are some things that it is hard to understand why it is happening. Things that you thought are so obvious yet ignorance prevail over maturity. I am a teacher. However, having a hard time making kids understand simple things is more acceptable than teaching grownups the same. What supposed to be is the problem? The answer is you! Yes you! Confronting people over their mistakes is such a dilemma. Making them understand the understandable is an insult in their being. They find it difficult to comprehend especially if the one saying it to felt superior it’s because of the level of education they have attained over you. Education is such a complex word. So broad that even intelligent ones can’t define it exactly and how broad is the scope of its significance.
Scientist, politicians, doctors and even teachers, how wide is the scope of their education? How can they define education? What is the limit of this word? How are we going to level ourselves with this word? If you are a teacher, is your education limits only on the strategies and the theories of teaching? If you are in politics, is your education limits only in the practice and theory of influencing people, law and governance? If you are a scientist, is your education focused only on performing research toward a more comprehensive understanding of nature, including physical, mathematical and social realms? Are the limits of one’s education only based on the title they have attained? How about those things remain in the gap of all those mentioned title? Values, it’s all that missing. Values toward everything that surrounds us. Who cares if you are a doctor if you’re holding a double barrel shotgun pointed towards a lion inside of a reserve? Who cares if you are a teacher if you don’t instil care about everything in the environment? Who cares if you are a scientist if your slaughter hundreds of animals just for the sake of experiment? And who cares if you are a politician that you allow mining for the sake of employment rather than thinking for the welfare of the nature and the trouble it might cause in the health of those who live within the vicinity?
Everything is around us. Employment, food, home, hope, and even education, is there. The devastation we caused to our planet can still be fixed. The desolation is on the rush now. It spreads fast. Because we let other people to continue doing what they are doing right now. How much oxygen can you still breathe? How many birds can you still see? Elephants, lions rhino, sharks. How many are there still left? If this all stops now, there’s hope. All that’s endangered can still be saved. All that’s sinking can still be afloat. All that’s melting can still be freezed. Because all that’s gone cannot be saved anymore. Don’t wait for it to be all gone extinct. Because we can’t bring it  back what’s already gone. We can still make our planet a better place to live.

The gradual obliteration of the Climate Change. The new Generation’s initiative.

As we all know global warming rapidly gets worst, the population of the species speedily decreases and believed to be in the brink of extinction. Obliteration of the habitat over killing, hunting and poaching are just among of those activities brought their existence in nearly annihilation and we afraid to know that some has already gone extinct because of the said problems.

This generation is the generation of concern citizens; one project to another, one movement to another and one initiative to another. It’s the global citizen generation. The movements increase in numbers. People are now determined to put this in full stop. Not just any movement or organization but also prominent people from show-business, politics and people who became known of their advocacy against drastic changes in our planet stands as one. If all hands hold to one another soon there will never be a tragedy caused by the global warming. NO death tolls, no lost properties, no broken hopes, no broken dreams only the life as we know it.  Lay a hand. all of us, every people, every nation. lets us put away the yearn for wealth for once.

We have alternatives for that thirst, we have a solution for that inadequacy. All that hid behind those bushes and trees on woodland, all those that swirling beneath the surface of the ocean and seas have lives, though some are destined to be to rest on top of our plates, still they have lives, their existence is as important as ours, their population deserves to grow as big as ours. For this is a planet for all that lives that there is no specie is more deserving to live than to the other. every living thing deserves to live and die with justice. killing an animal just for a single part of its body just for a soup, for bling, something to be worn and medicine and simply just leave that animal to its death is a crime. The forces that destroys our planet are those that we do.
Humanity is not just a virtue that we use to express to our fellow human, but it is a virtue how human deals and interact with everything surrounds him/her.

I am a Global Citizen. -Movement Impartation [part One]

Just like you when you cry when provoked by any kind of pain, so as our planet. Typhoons, intense heat and rain, drought, etc. Are among of the pain felt by our planet when ignored and mistreated. Yes! It is crying, SHE is crying for you to stop! Stop what you are not supposed to be doing. How many days did you attain recovery from breaking up with your lover? Days!? Weeks!? Months!? The earth is crying for you to stop for centuries and until now she is pleading you to end your inhumane actions. Every trash you’ve thrown is a slap on our mother planet’s face, every trash you’ve burnt and smoke you’ve blown that contributes in the amassing CO2 in the atmosphere is a beating you heaved in her heart. The world needs to manifest change and that change is now! What is lacking on us people is discipline. It the virtue that is missing that until now hasn’t been identified as gone astray. If it is within us maybe climate change, if not as worst as it is today it doesn’t exist at all. Our plane has been threatened by our own irresponsible deeds and these must have been identified. Do not ignore, do not discount do not disregard. We must materialize what supposed be need for a long time now. We must manifest change. This is that generation!

Five Simple ways and facts by Going Green

Don’t burn plastics- It emits carbon dioxide (CO2). CO2 is the number one source of greenhouse gas through human activity. It warms the planet's surface to a temperature above what it would be. It traps the heat inside of the planet that causes change in the climate. The process is called Global Warming.

Plant more trees- Trees clean the air. Absorb CO2, removing and storing the carbon while releasing the oxygen back into the air. They also absorb odors and pollutant gases like nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone and filter particulates out of the air by trapping them on their leaves and bark.

Garbage proper disposal- According to Wikipedia, “Waste management is the “generation, prevention, characterization, monitoring, treatment, handling, reuse and residual disposition of solid wastes”. There are various types of solid waste including municipal (residential, institutional, commercial), agricultural, and special (health care, household hazardous wastes, sewage sludge).”

Recycle-

Ride a bike- Putting your foot on a pedal of a bicycle gives you bunch of benefits. Among them are: you reduce the emission of greenhouse gas on the atmosphere, making yourself get. Cars are a major source of the pollution that is contributing to the environmental problems we have today. Using a bike to commute to and from work reduces the amount of pollution and can be far less stressful than sitting in traffic for an hour or more each way. Riding a bike to work and home is also a great way to get in a daily workout without having to hit the gym every day. Taking public transportation instead of driving has a lot of environmental benefits and riding a bike to and from the public transportation instead of driving a car will help the environment more.

Initiative- Small Fact why Global Warming Exist

Philippines, located in the highway of typhoons. Almost every year the number of typhoons visited the country increases, and the number of casualties swells in rate and properties are frequently destroyed. Not to mention the flood follows it. Why are there typhoons anyway? The constant increasing number of typhoons every year is because of the Global warming.

The global warming is a sudden change in atmospheric pressure because of the amount of the CO2s produced and accumulated in the surface of the planet. What causes Global Warming? To answer that, I went to figure it out myself.

I roam round the city and see what are the different activities causes it. I began with the most common observation that contributes in the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, smoke belching. Irresponsibility is in the air. Then, trash everywhere: on the street, canals, drainage systems. I keep on roaming around to see if there’s more till I went pass by to one street. I saw a guy burning rubbish, and this one is just a block away from my brothers house. The next day in the same time, the same guy did it again. I stayed in my brother’s house to observe. It wasn’t just him who keeps on doing it, but there are others. So, I did my own investigation. I ask them, why are they keeps on doing the activity. They came up into a consensus that if they won’t do it they’ll probably going to be drowned in rubbish if they won’t do it. Because, no garbage collectors are coming around to fetch their trashes, so they think it was the best idea to get rid of it. By burning them. “They said, there are even others who just simple dispose it in the nearby river. I thought this activity forbid by the local government, and why then they keep on doing so? I went to the Baranggay hall, a local government unit that holds responsible of the area, to know why they are no garbage disposal unit deployed in the area. The head told us, “residences need to sign something in the office to legalize the collection of garbage in the area, but nobody has an initiative to do so. These small actions contribute to send the area, even the planet from dying.

Sometimes we don’t have to wait for someone to make an initiative for us; we must do it by ourselves.

There are very little thing that’s left in this world and they are worth the fight. We can predict the weather before because of the pre-warnings. Now, the weather shifts and it is getting worst. Don’t let the fate dictate you, you dictate the fate.
